YMCA invites community to Senior Talent Show and Door County Style Fish Boil
Don’t miss the entertainment on Friday, Sept. 14 when the Y hosts the third annual Y’s Got Talent senior talent show, dinner and dance. The show begins at 6:30 p.m. at the YMCA of the Northwoods in Rhinelander. Sing along with the music of the Lake George Band and talented soloists. Watch square dancers, harmonica and banjo players perform.
“Last years show was such a huge success,” said Marilyn Duschl, Active Older Adult Coordinator. “We are hosting the event again this year with a new twist. The performers are all 55+ years old with lots of talent that they will share with an enthusiasitc audience.”
The Big Lake Fish Company will be cooking an all you can eat Door County-style fish boil dinner with cole slaw, baked beans, dessert and beverages. Dinner will be served from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
The cost for advanced tickets for the dinner, show and dancing is $12 per adult, $8 for youth under 18 years old and children 4 and under are free. Tickets may be purchased at the door for $15 per adult, and $10 youth/children under 18 years old. The cost for the show and dancing is $5.
