Letter: Please research before you vote by Marjorie DeLap

Who can we believe? Who is credible? This is the worst election process I’ve seen. Romney can’t relate to us at all. He has no clue as to what we need or what he could do to help us-if he even cares. He is so wrapped up in his fantastic life that he can’t imagine anything different. Why do they think it’s going to trickle down? It never has!
It’s the middle class that has to keep business going. But we can’t afford to buy. That is what the problem is. The only way we can all have a chance is when the taxes levies are equal, whether you make $20,000 a year or you make $1,000,000. Everyone wants to be wealthy. Would you pay taxes on the money you made?
To have more products made out of the U.S. is outrageous and unacceptable. Bring the factories back to America so we can go to any store and buy proudly products that are made in the USA. But they are hard to find. Isn’t that a shame?
We’re Americans first, and then we choose a political party we’re comfortable with. Some of our best years were under a Democratic president. If you don’t realize this, read the history of our country and then decide. Make up your own mind.
Please, I know how hard it’s probably going to be, but please vote…after you’ve done your own research. We need to see our wonderful country thrive once again and be the leader. That’s why our ancestors came to America, to be free, to succeed and to live with hope for a better chance without prejudice of race, color or creed.
Think about it. I did, and I’ll be voting for President Barack Obama. I believe him and trust him.
