Owned and operated by Laura Gilbert, Coffee Beans Etc. provides its customers with many types of beverages. “All the ingredients we use for our drinks are organic,” said Laura. “Even our instant coffee is Swiss water processed.”

The drink selections are many and include espressos, lattes and mochas, hot or cold. Teas are also a favorite here, and include Chai, Oolong, black, green and many others. There are many flavors of smoothies available, in addition to lemonade, apple cider, hot chocolate and a delectable concoction called a Dreamsicle, made with fresh orange juice that is whipped together with ice cream. Visitors will love the variety of flavored coffees to choose from too, and many come topped with fresh whipped cream with a drizzle of chocolate.

In addition to the wide selection of beverages served here, Coffee Beans Etc. also offers a lunch and light dinner menu, in addition to fresh baked bakery items. Muffins, cookies and sweet rolls are favorites for those looking to satisfy a sweet tooth. For lunch a wrap or sandwich may hit the spot. BLT’s are favorites as well as the taco wrap. The bagel sandwich is also frequently requested, as well as a variety of salads, including chicken Caesar, chef, taco and chicken club.

Laura has worked hard to make Coffee Beans Etc. a welcoming place for all. “We consider this a Christian, family oriented place,” said Laura. “I wanted to create a place where everyone is welcome to sit down and relax.”

There are many cozy tables throughout Coffee Beans Etc., along with deep and comfy couches in the back facing a working fireplace. There is even a large book shelf where patrons can read a book while they enjoy their beverage, or even check one out. Children will also enjoy the toys provided.

Customers can purchase their favorite coffees and teas at Coffee Beans Etc. and try them out at home as well. Custom greeting cards are available, along with coffee and tea mugs and hand-crafted jewelry and scarves from local artists.

Coffee Beans Etc. is worth a visit, and customers can be sure they will be greeted with friendliness and a tasty treat. “We’re trying to make a positive difference in the community,” said Laura. “I consider this place a respite, a place to relax and get away from the hustle of the outside world.”

Coffee Beans Etc. is located at 1022 Lincoln St. in Rhinelander. It is open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., on Saturday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
