New location for Oneida County Land and Water Conservation Department
In 2010, the Oneida County Board of Supervisors voted to combine the offices and committees of UW-Extension and Land and Water Conservation. Until now, those offices were separated by geography, one located at the Courthouse and one in the lower level of the airport terminal building.
As of June 11, both offices are now doing business out of one location. The Land and Water Conservation Department has moved to the lower level of the Rhinelander/Oneida County Airport Terminal.
This move may be only temporary until both offices find a permanent home at the Oneida County Courthouse some time within the next year, but for now, they will continue to answer questions and provide services from the airport location.
The phone number for the Land and Water Conservation Department has also changed. You can reach the Land and Water Conservation office or Jean Hansen at (715) 365-2750. The new address will be 3375 Airport Road #10, Rhinelander, WI 54501, but the office will continue to pick up mail at the old address, P.O. Box 400, on a regular basis.
