Obituary: John J. Loduha III
John J. Loduha III, 65, of Rhinelander, died on May 29, 2012, at his home, surrounded by his family and friends. He was born on May 26, 1947, in Milwaukee, to John and Elaine (Greve) Loduha Jr.
They moved to Rhinelander where John attended schools graduating from the Rhinelander High School in 1965. He then attended the UW-Oshkosh for a couple of years before returning to Rhinelander. Once back he got his real estate license and also operated Brokers Tavern for many years. John was involved with a lot of interests. In high school he was part of the diving team, drama club, madrigals and the mixed chorus. Later he was a member of the Oneida County Tavern League, the National Realtors Assoc., the Rhinelander Country Club, the Rhinelander Men’s Pool League, and Slow Pitch League and the Rhinelander Mens Tavern League Bowling. He enjoyed NASCAR, especially Daytona, Indy Car Racing, the Packers and Brewers and his fishing trips to Canada. He will be missed by many.
John is survived by his mother, Elaine Loduha of Rhinelander; his sister, JoAnn (Richard) Winquist of Rhinelander; his niece, Kim (Rocky Delap) Vandervest of Rhinelander; nieces, nephews; his buddy “Lizzy”; and many friends. He was preceded by his father, John Loduha Jr.; and his nephew, Keith Winquist.
A celebration of John’s life will be held on Saturday, June 2, at 2 p.m., at Brokers Bar in Rhinelander.
