Young people need to become informed by Marjorie DeLap
Editor:
We have to take our opinions and pass them to our children, friends, co-workers, neighbors and everyone we know. There are so many young people raising families and working to succeed that they do not watch, listen or read the political situation we are all in. It’s not that they don’t care; but it’s that they are too busy trying to make a decent living. The few times they have free time, it’s spent with their children, and rightfully so!
It is a scary time for all of us, and we have to get these opinions out to our young people and remind them to be sure to vote, after they have decided who the right person is for the position. That in itself is not an easy decision because so many politicians are not exactly forthcoming. But it is our right and privilege to vote, and every vote counts.
Please take a few minutes to read, watch, listen, decide and vote. The future for you and your family depends on it. Make that first step and get involved. You’ll be glad you did.
