Ministry Weight Management achieves Gold Standard for Excellence
Ministry Weight Management, a weight-loss program located in Rhinelander, was recently awarded the 2011 HMR Gold Standard Certificate of Achievement. This award distinguishes Ministry Weight Management from hundreds of clinics nationwide using the program for weight loss developed by HMR (Health Management Resources).
Ministry Weight Management offers a comprehensive approach to weight loss that includes intensive lifestyle education and the option of medical supervision for those with weight-related medical conditions.
“It’s an honor to achieve the 2011 Gold Standard of Excellence from Health Management Resources,” said Pam Morton, Program Coordinator, Ministry Weight Management. “This award is possible thanks to the hard work of all of our patients and staff.”
HMR recognizes programs that demonstrate excellence in performance and patient care by presenting Gold Standard Certificates annually to a select group of clinics across the nation. Certificates are awarded in categories such as greatest weight-loss rates, outstanding group attendance, and best weight maintenance data. HMR Programs nationwide submit clinical data in these areas and the top programs are presented with the HMR Gold Standard Certificate of Achievement.
Dr. Lawrence Stifler, Ph.D., founder and president of HMR personally handed the certificate to Ministry Weight Program Health Educator Melissa Wild during a recent training the staff attended in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
