A vote for Jack Sorensen By Mel Davidson
Editor:
This year the Oneida County Board of Supervisors will take on a new look when at least five new supervisors will be elected on April 3 to fill open positions. One of the new supervisors will represent my town-Pine Lake. As a 29 year resident of Pine Lake, I want to be represented on the Oneida County Board by the most knowledgeable, experienced, qualified and capable candidate.
I am convinced that Jack Sorensen is that candidate!
Jack is a native of Wisconsin and a 35 year resident of Oneida County and Pine Lake. He graduated from UW-Whitewater with BS and MS Degrees in Finance, Economics and Management. He is self-employed as a Real Estate Appraiser. Earlier, he was a successful Local Real Estate Broker/Manager. He has been a student of local and state government, and has experience in public service at all levels.
Jack has served Oneida County and Pine Lake in several capacities, i.e., County Board of Supervisors; Chairman, Oneida County Economic Development Corporation; Governor’s Council on Tourism; Chairman, Pine Lake Plan Commission; and Rhinelander District Library Foundation Board. Additionally, he has served as a member and volunteer on many local, regional and state-wide committees.
In my judgment, Jack Sorensen is an excellent County Board candidate. He has a deep knowledge of local and state government to complement his formal business education and successful business experience. And finally, Jack really knows how things work in today’s complex government and business world. Jack Sorensen will be an outstanding member of the Oneida County Board of Supervisors representing Pine Lake. I’m voting for Jack, and I urge all residents of Pine Lake to vote on April 3…and be sure to vote for JACK SORENSEN!
Mel Davidson, Rhinelander
