Marilyn Chagnon, 73, Rhinelander, died Nov. 8, 2011, at her home. She was born June 23, 1938, in Elcho, to Harry and Laura Wallin. She is survived by her husband, Donald; her children, Jennifer (Verle) Keszler of Kennewick, W. Va., and Julie Chagnon, Beth (Shawn) Scheeler and Daniel (Kim) all of Rhinelander; her sisters, Nancy Ries of Rhinelander and Joan Sullivan of Wautoma; and her brothers, Jerry (Mary) Wallin of Green Valley, Ariz. and Jack Wallin of Rhinelander; and five grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents; and a sister, Patricia Wallin. Per Marilyn’s request, private family services will be held.

Edward J. Duellman, 93, Rhinelander, died Nov. 4, 2011, at Taylor Park Nursing Home. He was born Aug. 17, 1918, in Colby, to Henry and Mary Duellman. He is survived by his wife, Teresa; his children, Edward (Debbie) of Manitowoc, Karen Calhoun of Tomahawk, Robert (Susie) and Richard, both of Rhinelander; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren. He was preceded by a grandson; two sisters; and six brothers. Edward served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and after that in the National Guard. He was a long time employee of the Rhinelander Paper Mill. A memorial service was held Nov. 10 at the Carlson Funeral Home.

Forrest W. “Woody” Hoffman, 48, died Nov. 4, 2011, at Seasons of Life Hospice in Woodruff. He was born April 11, 1963 to Edward and Sharon (Taplin) Hoffman in Milwaukee. He is survived by his mother; and his sister, Heidi (Greg) Tall of Casa Grand, Ariz. He was preceded by his father. Woody graduated from Rhinelander High School and then worked for 21 years at General Electric. Memorial services were Nov. 7 at First Congregational Church.

Beulah V. Johnson, 95, of Rhinelander, died Nov. 2, 2011, in Rhinelander. She was born Dec. 17, 1915, in Beaver, to Henry and Helma Salzwedel. She is survived by her daughter, Patsy Russell; her sons, Walter “Buzzy” (Jeffie Mae), Timothy (Barbara), Gary (Marcie) and Terry, all of Rhinelander; her grandchildren; and her great grandchildren. She was preceded by her husband, Walter in 2003; four sisters and two brothers. Family services will be at a later date. Interment will be in the Forest Home Cemetery.

Oscar “Keith” Nelson, 81, of Rhinelander, died Nov. 3, 2011, at his home. He was born Nov. 26, 1929, in Dousman, to Oscar and Winnifred Nelson. He is survived by his wife, Rose; his children, Linda (Alan) Sunwalt of Dousman, Tom, David (Melody), Gerald (Vicki), all of Rhinelander; Nola Nelson Devereau of Milwaukee; his sisters, Janet (Wally) Hermann of Sheboygan and Frances Wohlwend of Lakewood; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded by his brother, Lawrence; a sister, Genevieve Palmquist; and a son, John. Keith served in the U.S. Marine Corps. After that he served as the Wood County 4-H Youth Agent and then moved to Rhinelander where he was the 4-H Youth Agent for Oneida, Forest, Florence and Vilas counties. He also worked as a Rural Mutual Insurance Agent. A funeral service was held Nov. 7 at First United Methodist Church.

Virginia “Gini” Walczak, 59, of Gleason, died Nov. 8, 2011, at her home. She was born on Sept. 13, 1952, in Chicago, Ill., to Herman and Celine Kasdorf. She is survived by her husband, Michael of Gleason; three daughters, Michelle (Jerrod) Olson and Danielle (Jeff) Wunrow, both of Rhinelander, and Tricia Huempfner of Minocqua; three sons, Gabe Huempfner Jr. of Rhinelander, Rich Huempfner of Minneapolis, Minn., and Jim Huempfner of Minocqua; three step-daughters, Kathie (Kent) Hicok of Dallas Center, Iowa, Stacy (Nate) Milquette of Green Bay, and Brianne (Justin) Jaeger of Green Bay; her mother-in-law, Elaine Walczak of Kaukauna; four sisters, Kim Drewke, Pam (David) Stocks, Lynn Drewke, and Sandra Schirmang; a brother, Robert (Lisa) Drewke; three sisters-in-law, Patricia Wilber, Nancy Walczak, and Carol (Mike) VanHeeswyk, all of Kaukauna; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Gini was a long time employee of Print Pak where she served as top graphics coordinator. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 12, at 1 p.m. at the Carlson Funeral Home.
